Susan came to Charlotte after college in Wilmington NC but spent her earlier years in Atlanta and Raleigh. It was no surprise to anyone Susan chose a career in the industry because she had such a passion for hair from an early age.
Susan attended the Aveda Institute in Atlanta where she built a great foundation and has continued to learn and grow in her profession here in Charlotte. She enjoys her clients and loves making them feel great.

In an effort to accommodate our amazing clients and their scheduling needs, Illuminate stylists are charging a 100% No-Show fee to all missed appointments. This fee will be added to your future service. If there are two or more no-shows, we will require a prepayment at the time of booking. We know that emergencies happen, but please allow 24 hours notice for any cancellation. Messages on our answering machine DO count toward this notice. A fee will be charged for last minute cancellations.
