Cancellations
Surprised with a trip to Paris from your husband for the upcoming weekend and need to cancel your appointment? No problem. Just give us a day’s notice and we will get you rescheduled promptly. Don’t have a day’s notice? That sometimes happens. As long as it isn’t a reoccurring theme (like a season of Day’s of our Lives). If it is, we will address it and that will just be awkward.
No Shows
If you no show you keep someone else from illuminating, someone who has been anxiously awaiting their illumination. We will call all of our waiting list and tell them that you no showed, ensuring immediately mo-jo heading your way. Just kidding but all jokes aside, please don’t no show.
Running Late
Life is hectic and we realize that sometimes you will be late. We will do everything in our power to get you accommodated. Due to the processing times of hair color and other clients’ schedules, sometimes it isn’t possible. As a general guideline, if you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule.
Children
We love them. Seeing that most of us are kids at heart it makes sense. In loving them we have their utmost safety in mind. As Illuminate was designed to be an adult’s haven, it is not childproofed. There are sharp implements and hot tools, all very enticing for a child’s curiosity. Give yourself a treat and arrange for childcare during your visit. You deserve it.
Payment
We accept several forms of payment for your convenience; Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks and cash. If you write a check and it comes back to us, we will charge you $30 and will unfortunately need to limit your future payments to cash or credit cards. Great news, we do accept gratuities on credit cards for your convenience.
Advertising
Illuminate Salon is a co-op of independent contractors working toward the same mission and purpose. Structured as such, Illuminate’s leadership defers all ownership of marketing and advertising to the stylists who make up this co-op, both individually and as a group.
When appropriate, Illuminate will assist in communication between with the co-op and advertising representation to help insure mutual goals are reached. That being said it is ultimately the responsibility of the co-op as a group and/or individually to solicit, contract, design and pay for all advertising and promotion.
Rules of Engagement
-The Illuminate Salon cooperative group of independent contractors sole focus during their scheduled service time is their clients and their needs. Out of respect for this commitment, please schedule an appointment in advance to speak with Illuminate’s designated marketing lead for the specific project. Drop-ins are not welcome.
-Contracts for marketing and advertising will be made between the independent contractors and the media outlet directly. All participating contractors will be listed and liable on the contract. Illuminate Salon, unless expressly purchasing the marketing/ advertising will never be listed as liable or responsible for any contract or commitment.
-Illuminate Salon imagery and branding collateral is under the express control of Illuminate’s leadership team. Any use without permission from the leadership team is prohibited. Please contact Illuminate’s designated marketing lead with any questions, concerns or applications for use.
-In an effort to maintain brand integrity, Illuminate strives to discourage conflicts of interest where it may apply to marketing and advertising. Illuminate reserves the right to deny contractual commitments at its discretion with any vendor or rep for any project or product.
Vendor Relations
Illuminate Salon is a co-op of independent contractors working toward the same mission and purpose. While we are structured as such we have guidelines and protocol on all retail and professional products used and sold. Any solicitation for sales should be done by appointment only and is highly discouraged in any other manner. All sales appointments should be requested by email to our inventory leader, Brandi Piana at [email protected].
Charitable Giving
The Illuminate Salon’s leadership team is extremely committed to our community and sees our salon as a vibrant and responsible member. With that philosophy, we make all efforts to support our fellow community members in need as it aligns with our vision and purpose.

When appropriate, Illuminate will assist in communication between with the co-op and non-profit representation to help insure mutual goals are achieved. That being said it is the ultimately responsibility of the co-op as a group and/or individually to contract, construct and donate for all charitable activity.
